YAX-C32: 1500Kg of pure Strength and Accuracy!!

Today from Baruffaldi s.p.a Machine Tool Division based in Tribiano (MI), has been delivered the first Compact Y-Axis Unit size 32.
With this model that weighs 1500Kg, Baruffaldi complete the Line of the Compact Y-Axis.
With top charateristics, this unit has no equal on the market:
-Total stroke in Y direction is 340mm (±170mm)
-Positioning accuracy is 10µm (Ball Screw ISO 3 type with )
-Double Hydraulic brake @100bar + Preloading system of the guideways @50bar, for a total locking with no backlash in turning and milling operations
-Live Tool torque up to 120Nm
